Q1. Where are you based?

We are in Km 13 of the Manga del Mar Menor, at the Marina Deportivo Tomás Maestre. Dock 3, dock 28.

There is a map of location in our contact section. You can come and visit the boat if we are not at sea!

The weather in this part of Spain is warm and sunny almost every day (from May to September) so the sailing conditions are excellent.

Q2. Is there anything important that I should bring with me?

Yes! And you can download a practical list here LINK

The most important things to bring are lots of sun protection, sunglasses and a jacket in case it is windy or cooler if we go out at night.

A hat is always good to go sailing and remember your swimwear and towel is you are planning to take swim!

Q3. Is food provided?

We will have water on board and some light snacks (think olives and nuts), but please bring your own food with you.

Fruit on a hot day is very refreshing !! We have a kitchen with oven and refrigerator to keep refreshments cool. We also have full kitchenware.

If you are planning a full day of navigation, we can cook and organise food for your group, but please let us know in advance. Or you can bring food and drink for the whole day if you prefer.

Q4. What kind of excursions do you offer?

Wow, many!

We offer various types of trips for families, couples, groups of friends or even business days out.

From sailing through the islands of the Mar Menor, wildlife trips, birthday celebrations or if you just want to relax, sunbathe and drink, our boat is the perfect choice.

We know some quiet places to swim and jump safely from the boat.

We offer bespoke trips, so you have the freedom to choose. It's your trip after all!

However, we have some suggestions in our types of excursions section.

Q5. Do you offer accommodation on the boat?


If you are planning to book the boat for 2 days or a sunset trip, we can offer you the fabulous experience of sleeping on the boat.

We will moor the baot and you will have complete privacy on the boat overnight and we will return around mid-day the next day. Or we can start sailing again at 9am!

Accommodation on the boat is for 6 to 8 people max. (three double beds and two single sofa beds).

We will provide bed linen, sheets and pillows.

Just remember your toothbrush!

Q6. How can we reserve?

Booking a boat trip with Mar Menor Charter is very simple. You can hire our sailboat for 2, 4, 6, 8 hours, or for a sunset trip with accommodation, or 2 days or more!
